Lexy Dolegui is a laboratory technician at the University of Maryland’s vanEgelsdorp Entomology lab in. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science. Ever since she joined the Bee informed Partnership in March 2015, she has a more keen interest in entomology especially how it relates to public health in general. With no prior experience as a laboratory technician, she applied for this job as an opportunity to broaden her horizon as well as getting more experience in the field. Other than working me with the bee team, and learning more about bees’ health, she also enjoys spending her free time playing her violin.
